<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information without violating the right to hold identity. <P>SOLUTION: An information display device to be used together with a broadcast receiver includes a communication unit for transmitting/receiving a communication signal, a display unit for displaying information acquired via the communication unit or performing menu display, a user interface unit for generating a manipulation signal in response to a user manipulation, and a control unit for controlling operation of the communication unit or the display unit on the basis of the manipulation signal. In the device, the control unit performs the menu display on the display unit for selecting information relating to a broadcast program receivable for the broadcast receiver, transmits a communication signal indicating a request of information based on request setting from the communication unit when request setting of the information is performed by the manipulation signal, and displays received information on the display unit when the communication signal indicating the information corresponding to the request is received by the communication unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
