<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device provided with an optical lens driving device capable of not only determining an original position by moving a lens holder but also recognizing whether desired operation is accurately performed even when the lens holder is moved from the original position once and to provide the optical lens driving device. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical pickup device, when whether the lens holder is normally moved is recognized by moving the lens holder in an optical axial direction and detecting a first lighting period, a first light shielding period and a second lighting period by using a photo detector in a photosensor, the first light shielding period is set in a length by which judgment of recognition of operation can be performed by sensing the magnitude corresponding to a linear movement amount of a transmission direction conversion mechanism by the number of preset regular pulses inputted in a stepping motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
