PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management system in which other facilities can be controlled in accordance with a state of a facility device while reducing a communication quantity as an entire system even without requiring an apparatus for unitary management of states of facility devices, and high performance is not required for each facility device, either. SOLUTION: A device management system is constituted of a plurality of management apparatuses to which one or more input devices or output devices are connected, a master management apparatus is provided that is one of the management apparatuses, for each cooperative group constituted of a plurality of input devices and one or more output devices, and the master management apparatus collects state information of input devices within the cooperative group and judges whether or not to change the state of an output device based on the collected state information. When it is judged to change the state, an instruction of changing the state toward the output device is transmitted to the management apparatus to which the output device is connected.
