PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack in which a temperature measuring of a secondary battery in a battery pack can be done without using an expensive thermistor. SOLUTION: The battery pack is provided with two of metal wires made of different metal materials between connection portions of secondary batteries connected in series and a measuring circuit. One end of each of the two of the metal wires on a side of the secondary batteries are connected with each other and electrically connected with the connection portions. Furthermore, the other end on a side of the measuring circuit is open and is electrically connected with the measuring circuit. Based on a thermo-electromotive force generated between the two metal wires, a temperature difference between the secondary batteries and the measuring circuit is detected. The measuring circuit is provided with a temperature detecting element which can measure an absolute temperature of the measuring circuit and a battery temperature of the secondary batteries is detected from a temperature difference between the secondary batteries and the measuring circuit. Moreover, an intermediate potential between the secondary batteries is measured by using either of the metal wires. By providing a metal wire made of a metal material different from a conventional metal wire provided for measuring the intermediate potential, the battery temperature of the secondary batteries can be measured simultaneously.
