PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve thermoelectric conversion efficiency of a module by suppressing flow of heat passed through a resin holding a thermoelectric conversion element while suppressing peeling of an electrode. SOLUTION: After a plurality of rod-shaped P-type and N-type thermoelectric conversion elements are alternately arranged so that a fixed space exists mutually between the thermoelectric conversion elements, an epoxy resin is filled in the space existing mutually between the P-type and N-type thermoelectric conversion elements to make a wholly integrated block, electrodes to electrically connect mutually between the P-type and N-type thermoelectric conversion elements are formed respectively by thermally spraying metal particles to the cut cross-section of block piece obtained by cutting the block in a prescribed thickness. and afterward, a heat resistant adhesive is applied to the space existing mutually between the electrodes to form this thermoelectric conversion module. In this manufacturing method of the thermoelectric conversion module, the height of the heat resistant adhesive applied to the space existing mutually between the electrodes is made lower than that of the surface of the electrode, and an air gap layer is formed between the heat source of the module and the heat resistant adhesive applied to the contact surface of the heat source of the module when using the thermoelectric conversion module.
