PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in detection or prediction of a failure of a computer system using a log analyzing technology by registering logs or conditions for generating a false positive phenomenon where a fault may be detected or predicted although it is not actually generated, detecting the generation of the similar logs or conditions, and reducing the generation of the false positive by deleting the logs, detecting a failure or invalidating prediction results. SOLUTION: This log analyzing method includes: registering logs or conditions for generating a false positive, detecting the generation of the similar logs or conditions, deleting the logs or detecting a failure, and reducing the generation of the false positive invalidating the prediction results.
