<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reuse of a data object by allowing retrieval of the data object contained in document data. <P>SOLUTION: This document use support device has a document acquisition part for acquiring the document data wherein the data object created by an arbitrary application is included in a display area; an object extraction part for extracting the data object and at least one piece of character information contained in the data object and attribute information of the data object, from the acquired document data; a document object association storage part for associating and storing the data object extracted from the document data, and at least one piece of the character information and the attribute information; a retrieval part for searching the document object association storage part with the character information or the attribute information as a retrieval key; and an output part for outputting the data object, associated with the retrieved character information or attribute information in the document object association storing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
