PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability of photography operation of an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 10 comprises a bottom housing 11, a top housing 21, a lower LCD 12, an upper LCD 22, an inside camera 23, and a microphone. The top housing 21 has the lower side connected collapsibly to the upper side of the bottom housing 11. The lower LCD 12 is provided with a display screen on the inner side face of the bottom housing 11 when it is collapsed. The upper LCD 22 is provided with a display screen on the inner side face of the top housing 21 when it is collapsed. An image pick-up section is provided between the display screen of the lower LCD 12 and the display screen of the upper LCD 22 on the inner side face of the top housing 21.
