<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing mechanism for a vehicular a fuel filling aperture, capable of surely preventing failure to close the fuel filling aperture after completion of fuel filling at a self-supply system filling station and so forth. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel filling aperture opened-state detection sensor 26 is provided that detects whether the fuel filling aperture 43 is opened or closed, and if the aperture is detected to be opened, the fuel filling aperture 43 is automatically closed by a fuel filling aperture opening/closing drive control means 12. At this moment, it is judged whether or not a state of failure to close the fuel filling aperture is in presence, and upon the existence of the failure being found, opening/closing members 42, 42 that are present at an open-position are caused to move to a close-position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
