PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel mounting structure for allowing an operation panel to be mounted at a normal position without requiring a lock operation of a user. SOLUTION: This panel mounting structure includes a device body 2, and the operation panel 3 detachably mounted to the front surface of a side part of the device body 2 through a connector 31. In the panel mounting structure, the device body 2 includes a fitting recessed part 11a for fitting at least a part or the whole of the operation panel 3 therein; and the fitting recessed part 11a includes a projection 45 correcting the connection position of the connector 31 by abutting the operation panel 3 when the operation panel 3 is mounted to the device body 2.
