PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater capable of obtaining better results in both runaway testing and heat cycle testing. SOLUTION: The heater provided with a substrate, and a heating resistive element formed on the substrate and containing Ag-Pd and glass has a Pd content ratio Pc in the Ag-Pd of 65 wt.% or more and a glass content ratio Gc in the heating resistive element of 20 wt.% or less.
