PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow only one type of a dump program to output dump data contents of firmware, a loader and a system control program to an external storage device in a stand-alone dump of an information processing system. SOLUTION: By providing a memory map that can store area information of dump data and making a program itself register the area information of the dump data, firmware and a dump program to be executed after resetting an information processor can be executed without overwriting the dump data, and the dump program outputs to the external storage device contents of a memory area to be dumped from the memory map.
