PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump capable of improving delivery performance thereof. SOLUTION: The pump 1 is equipped with a pump case 3 which includes a pump chamber 5 thereinside and openings of a suction port 9 and delivery port 11 communicating to the pump chamber 5, impellers 13, 19 coaxially arranged in a plurality of stages in the pump chamber 5, and a separator 14 which is arranged between axially adjacent impellers 13, 19 and which demarcates the pump chamber 5. The separator 14 has thereinside a guide passage 15f connecting the radial outside of the upstream side pump chamber 5A with the radial center side of the downstream side pump chamber 5B. The guide passage 15f is composed of one passage whose cross section area is set almost equal to a passage cross section area of the suction port 9 in the pump case 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
