PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor treatment device in which the release of fuel vapor into the atmosphere is suppressed without relying upon the capacity of a canister. SOLUTION: This fuel vapor treatment device comprises the canister 28 for adsorbing fuel vapor, a canister side valve 48 capable of taking a communication state in which the canister 28 communicates with a fuel tank 14 and a cutoff state in which the communication of the canister 28 with the fuel tank 14 is cut off, a pressure vessel 40, a compressor 44 installed between the pressure vessel 40 and the fuel tank 14 and force-feeding the fuel vapor in the fuel tank 14 into the pressure vessel 40, and a vessel side valve 46 for maintaining the fuel vapor of more than the atmospheric pressure in the pressure vessel 40.
