PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor in which the centers of both the rotating shaft of a compression mechanism part and the rotating shaft of a motor are hardly fluctuated due to an assembling error. SOLUTION: In this electric compressor, the compression mechanism part 10 and the motor 20 are disposed in a housing 2. The compression mechanism part 10 comprises a cylinder block 11 and a front side block 12 and a rear side block 13 secured to both sides of the cylinder block, respectively. A cylinder chamber 14 is formed in the blocks 11, 12, 13. The rotating shaft 16 of a rotor 15 stored in the cylinder chamber 14 and the rotating shaft 21 of the motor 20 are connected to each other.
