PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural gasket for construction, which simplifies work when a panel member is mounted, ensures sufficient holding strength and appearance, and is fitted for a frontage having a step formed therein. SOLUTION: The structural gasket is formed of a base block and a press block. The base block is formed of: an external retaining portion which is anchored to a lower stage of a rise portion of the frontage in which the panel member is mounted, and supports an outside surface of an edge of the panel member; and an anchoring portion which is inserted into an anchoring groove formed in the lower stage of the rise portion. The press block is formed of an internal retaining portion which is combined with the base block to be anchored to an upper stage of the rise portion, and supports an inside surface of the edge of the panel member. Then the base block and the press block have engaging portions for engaging with each other, and the external retaining portion, the internal retaining portion, and the anchoring portion of the base block cooperatively constitute a holding groove by which the edge of the panel member is pinched.
