PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for producing a resin molded article which can be inexpensively, easily and quickly produced with a simple method and device, is appropriate for producing in a small lot of the articles, and hardly causes the displacement of drawing pattern/design. SOLUTION: A liquid resin 2 where a drying assisting solvent is added to a resin to be a raw material of the resin molded article 1 is transferred through a liquid supply roll 3 to an outer peripheral surface of an intaglio type roll 4 in which a large number of fine, shallow recesses 5 are formed on the outer peripheral surface. The liquid resin 2 is transferred to the outer peripheral surface of a blanket roll 7 having flexibility and resin peelability on at least outer peripheral part in such a state that an excessive resin solution is removed, is made to be a damp-dried resin film 9. The resin film 9 is transferred on the outer surface of a mold material 10 having an outer surface shape 11 corresponding to an inner surface or the outer surface of the resin molded article, and afterward, the resin molded article 1 is made by peeling the dried resin film 9 from the mold material 10.
