PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil recovery apparatus relatively simple in structure capable of being manufactured at a low cost and efficiently recovering the oil in a grease trap to remove it. SOLUTION: The oil recovery apparatus 1 is constituted so that sewage in a grease pit 2 is sucked by a suction part 11, and the sucked sewage is electrolyzed in an electrolytic part 12 to turn oil flocculated by the gas bubbles of hydrogen or the like accompanying electrolysis to form a flocculated layer on the surface of the water in a first chamber 31. The flocculated matter and sewage in the first chamber 31 are guided to a second chamber 32 and the head pressure corresponding to the water level of a head exhaust pipe 42 is allowed to act on the inside of the second chamber 32 to compress the flocculated matter to extract oil. The part with a high specific gravity of the sewage in the first chamber 31 is guided to a third chamber 33 and the head pressure corresponding to the height of the top part 16a of a head discharge pipe 16 is allowed to act on the third chamber 33. Since the flocculated matter is concentrated by head pressure to recover the oil without using a drive part, the structure of the oil recovery apparatus 1 can be made simpler than before, and a production cost can be reduced.
