The drive (100) has an electronic-machine (128) mechanically connected with another electronic-machine (112) by a drive (140) and electrically connected by a controller (146). A power split transmission includes an input shaft (106), a driven gear (126) and an output shaft (110), where the input shaft is coupled with a crankshaft (108) of an internal-combustion engine. The driven gear drives the drive (100) for auxiliary equipment (130). The output shaft is coupled with the electronic-machine (112). An independent claim is also included for an operating method for an auxiliary equipment drive.
