<p>Multipurpose hot melt adhesive compositions which are suitable for use as both a construction and elastic attachment adhesive for disposable soft goods, such as disposable diapers, feminine sanitary napkins, surgical drapes, hospital pads, and adult incontinent products. The multipurpose hot melt adhesive compositions have a high level of creep resistance, high bond strength, and relatively low viscosity, and are composed of endblock resin in combination with a linear styrene- butadiene-styrene (SBS) copolymer wherein the copolymer has a styrene content greater than about 35% by weight, and preferably about 38% to about 50% by weight.</p> |
