A flashlight (100), comprising: a main housing (102); a lamp housing (104) removably attachable to the main housing; and a semi-rigid conduit (106) coupling the main housing (102) to the lamp housing (104) that, when the lamp housing is not attached the main housing, supports the lamp housing in a fixed position with respect to the main housing, the semi-rigid conduit (106) bendable so that the fixed position of lamp housing with respect to the main housing can be adjusted by bending the semi-rigid conduit. The main housing (102) or lamp housing (104) includes a retaining mechanism (118) and the other of the main housing and lamp housing includes a mating feature (128) that is engaged by the retaining mechanism (118) to attach the lamp housing to the main housing.
