The test strip comprises at least one electrically insulating substrate material and a plurality of electrical strip contacts disposed on the least one insulating substrate layer. The at least one electrical strip contact includes a first conductive layer disposed on the substrate, and a second conductive layer disposed on top of the first conductive layer.
