PREPARATION AND MODIFICATION OF POLYPROPYLENE ADHERING SHEET COMPOSITION BY GRAFTING OF MALEIC ANHYDRIDE WITH ETHYLENE METHACRYLIC ACID COPOLYMER

A composition for a polypropylene adhesive sheet is provided to ensure enough adhesive power and mechanical strength through a covalent bond by grafting a maleic anhydride acid and ethylene methacrylic acid which are a compatibilizer to polypropylene which is a non-polar material at 170°C. A composition for a polypropylene adhesive sheet modified with a maleic anhydride acid and ethylene methacrylic acid is anufactured by the steps of: grafting the maleic anhydride acid to the polypropylene at 130-170 °C by adding 0.5-1.5 weight% of maleic anhydride as a compatibilizer to the polypropylene; and grafting an ethylene methacrylic acid to the graft copolymer by adding ethylene methacrylic acid in an amount of 10-50 weight% based on the maleic anhydride acid.
