A method and a device for processing data by a network element is provided, said method comprising the steps of (i) the network element receives information about an entity; (ii) the network element determines whether information associated with said entity is available; and (iii) if information associated with said entity is available, the network element initiates interception. Further, a communication system comprising such a device is provided.
