A trim part for a vehicle 10 comprising a generally annular body; means 110 for securing the body to an exterior surface of the vehicle 20; and one or more light sources 14, such as light-emitting diodes (LED), disposed in or on the body; wherein the body is arranged to be secured to the external surface of the vehicle so as to substantially encircle an aperture formed therein. A method is also claimed for the assembling of a lamp to a vehicle structure comprising: mounting of the lamp to the vehicle structure; locating a finisher around the light emitting surface of the assembly; and securing the finisher to the external surface of the vehicle so as to cover a gap 30 formed between the light emitting surface and the external surface of the vehicle. |
