<p>A control unit (12) is provided which generates a video signal on the basis of an application corresponding to a receiving function. Then, the control unit (12) outputs a predetermined video signal at the time of turning on of a power source thereof, starts up an application in the state that a predetermined video signal is output, and in the state that a video signal is generated from the broadcast signal on the basis of the start-up of the application, outputs the video signal in the place of the predetermined video signal.
