<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing liquid junction between a positive electrode active material layer and a negative electrode active material layer in a bipolar electrode, and at the same time suppressing an increase in a resistance of the collector in a direction perpendicular to its surface, in a collector for a bipolar battery containing conductive resin. <P>SOLUTION: The collector for a bipolar battery includes a conductive resin layer and at least one layer of an ion blocking layer which is conductive and suppresses transmission of ions in the direction perpendicular to its surface. The resin layer and ion blocking layer are electrically joined so as to have higher conductivity of the joined layer in the direction perpendicular to its surface than that in its planar direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
