<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an undesired force acting on a sheet when transporting the sheet between sheet transport modules. <P>SOLUTION: A processing device includes the first sheet transport module 102, the second sheet transport module 122, and a control sub system 182. The first sheet transport module 102 and the second sheet transport module 122 are configured to transport a sheet. The control sub system 182 is configured to set velocity control of the first sheet transport module 102 before the sheet is transferred from the first sheet transport module 102 to the second sheet transport module 122.
