<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-band processor and a communicating apparatus including the base-band processor. <P>SOLUTION: The base-band processor performing a frequency hopping in a digital region includes a modulating portion and conversion portion. The modulating portion generates OFDM symbols by modulating a bit stream. The converting portion converts the OFDM symbols from a frequency region to a time region and adjusts the frequency of the OFDM symbols in accordance with a frequency hopping sequence so that frequency hopping is executed in the digital region.
