<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low interference sound type silent chain for reducing a noise level of the whole chain, by reducing contact pressure with a sprocket, while avoiding an interference sound with the sprocket, by continuously smoothly meshing with an outside meshing surface from an inside meshing surface of a link tooth when meshing with the sprocket. <P>SOLUTION: In this low interference sound type silent chain 100, the inside meshing surface 111 of the link tooth 110a swells a little from the outside meshing surface 112 of the link tooth 110a overlapping in the chain width direction in a chain extension state, and the inside meshing surface 111 is constituted of a circular arc-shaped meshing starting area 111a arranged on the addendum side of the link tooth 110a and a straight line-shaped meshing guiding area 111b arranged on the deddendum side, and meshes with a tooth surface of the sprocket S so as to be seated on the outside meshing surface 112 by starting meshing from the inside meshing surface 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
