PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a paper battery in which the paper battery with high reliability, with the internal short circuiting of the battery and the short circuiting between a positive electrode tab and a negative electrode tab being prevented, can be manufactured, and its productivity improved. SOLUTION: The paper battery 10 is provided with an electrode body which is laminated, by interposing a separator 17 between a positive electrode plate 11 and a negative electrode plate 14 and a laminate outer package 18, and a positive electrode tab 13, connected to the positive electrode plate 11 and a negative electrode tab 16 connected to the negative electrode plate 14 project from one side of the laminate outer package 18; an electrolyte solution is filled inside, and tab films 12, 15 which can be welded are adhered to both sides, respectively, in the positive electrode tab 13 and the negative electrode tab 16; and the separator 17 and the tab films 12, 15 are fixed to the inner face of the laminate outer package 18 through welding.
