PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover body for a drain outlet of a sanitary fixture, wherein a shielding body, which is equipped with an ultraviolet LED for applying ultraviolet rays for disinfecting the inside of the drain outlet, is detachably coupled with a storage portion, which can house a battery for supplying the driving power of the ultraviolet LED, while they can be individually replaced. SOLUTION: This cover body 20 for the drain outlet covers the drain outlet of the sanitary fixture into which wastewater flows. The cover body includes: the shielding body 2, one surface side of which is equipped with the ultraviolet LED 1 for applying ultraviolet rays for disinfecting the inside of the drain outlet, and which can shield the ultraviolet rays; and a storage portion 4 which is connected to the other surface side of the shielding body 2 in such a manner as to be attachable to/detachable from the shielding body 2, and which can house the battery 3 for supplying the driving power of the ultraviolet LED 1.
