PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising device for preventing heat from filling bed soil when generating heat from a heat generator and cultivating. SOLUTION: This raising device is such that a face heat generator 8 is expanded and buried in bed soil 6, the bed soil 6 is installed with chaff compost 13 or/and bark compost 14, a container 4 is portable, and an electrical cord 10 is connected to the face heat generator 8. Furthermore, a gap 15 is formed in the bed soil 6 by the chaff compost 13 or/and bark compost 14, and air in the gap 15 is heated, passes through the gap 15 as expected, and reaches a synthetic resin sheet 5 so as to reduce the difference between the temperature of the bed soil 6 and the temperature in the synthetic resin sheet 5 and excellently raise seedlings.
