PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the manufacturing costs of a coil device. SOLUTION: A bobbin 22 around which a winding 21 is wound has an embedded part 30, in which each terminal metal fitting 40 provided on a terminal of each power-supply electric wire 11 is embedded. The embedded part is provided to the bobbin through insert molding. A connection part 45 with the winding 21 is provided to each terminal metal fitting 40, and each connection part 45 is exposed from the embedded part 30. After forming a coil body 20 by winding the winding 21 around the bobbin 22, both ends 21A, 21B of the winding 21 are, respectively connected to each connection part 45 of each exposed terminal metal fitting 40 through thermal welding.
