PURPOSE: A cluster ion generating device is provided to sterilize mold or bacteria floating in the air by decomposing odor particles. CONSTITUTION: A cluster ion generating device comprises: a first ion generation electrode(110a), which is installed in order to be located close to the front of an air cleaner, generating positive and negative ions through an applied output voltage; a second ion generation electrode(110b), which is installed in order to be located close to the rear of the air cleaner, generating positive and negative ions through the applied output voltage; and an ion generation drive circuit which applies the same output voltage or a different voltage to the first ion generation electrode and second ion generation electrode.
