PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending instrument for an endoscope with which an extended linking part for joining a fixed part and a sliding part can be easily formed, while the length thereof can be freely optionally set, and also to provide a method of producing the same. SOLUTION: The fixed part 11 attached to the outer periphery of the distal end of the endoscope 15, the sliding part 12 slidably attached further towards the base end of the endoscope 15 than the portion where the fixed part 11 is attached, and a linking part 13c for joining the fixed part 11 and the sliding part 12 are molded as a single piece. The linking part 13c of the molded body 10a is extended to a prescribed length by drawing to form the flexible extended linking part 13, and thus the bending instrument 10 for the endoscope to be used when the distal end part of the endoscope 15 is bent is obtained.
