PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with an IC tag which is provided so that the IC tag may not be damaged and from or into which tag information may be read or written reliably. SOLUTION: The container with the IC tag includes the IC tag 2 having an IC chip and an antenna unit in the container 3 having a bottom surface 31 in which a grounding portion 36 and a recess portion 37 recessed inward from the grounding portion 36 are formed, and the IC tag 2 is stored in a space portion 38 of the bottom surface 31 formed from the recess portion 37, while a clearance is located between the IC tag 2 and the surface including the grounding portion 36 of the container 3.
