PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent and a method for measuring the total concentration of harmful metals in a sample solution. SOLUTION: The reagent for measuring harmful metals includes a water-soluble porphyrin derivative and a zinc-metallothionein-like protein complex.
