PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard candy containing fruit that suppresses stickiness of dried fruit, increases its preservability and is more deliciously edible; and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The hard candy containing fruit contains a fruit-processed product part containing≥40 wt.% of dried fruit, 1-15 wt.% of oil and fat amount, 5-15 wt.% of water amount, 0.1-10 wt.% of gelling agent amount and 0.1-5 wt.% a cellulose derivative amount and a hard candy part having a water content value of <5 wt.%. in the ratio of the surface area of the fruit-processed product part to that of the hard candy part of 1:20-5:1. The hard candy containing fruit is produced through a step for processing dried fruit into a minced state, adding the oil and fat and the swollen gelling agent into the processed fried fruit and mixing the mixture with the cellulose derivative to prepare a fruit processed product and a step for extruding the fruit processed product into a linear state and combining the extruded fruit processed product with a hard candy or simultaneously making the fruit processed product and the hard candy into a linear state.
