PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-ribbed belt capable of reducing torque loss. SOLUTION: In the V-ribbed belt 1 including a compressed layer 4, a rubber composition forming the compressed layer 4 contains ethylene-α olefin elastomer as main ingredient. When dynamic viscoelasticity of the compressed layer 4 is measured under conditions that an initial strain is 0.1%, frequency is 10 Hz and strain is 0.5%, tan δ at 40°C is less than 0.150. Thus, as the tan δ of the compressed layer 4 is less than 0.150, the torque loss by the V-ribbed belt 1 can be reduced to be equal to or less than 0.24 Nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
