PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge drain collected in an air tank for storing compressed air. SOLUTION: The air compressor includes, in order to completely and surely discharge the drain collected in the air tank for storing compressed air, a drive unit having a motor; a compressed air generation unit driven by the drive unit; a tank unit for storing compressed air generated by the compressed air generation unit; and a drain discharge mechanism for discharging drain in the tank.
