Disclosed are: a sealing film for a solar cell, which contains an ethylene-(polar monomer) copolymer as the main component, has a cross-linked structure by the action of a cross-linking agent, and does not undergo the deterioration in insulating properties even when the sealing film contains a coloring agent and is used as a rear-side sealing film for the purpose of utilizing reflected light effectively; and a solar cell utilizing the sealing film. Specifically disclosed are: a sealing film for a solar cell, which comprises an ethylene-(polar monomer) copolymer, a cross-linking agent and a coloring agent, and which is characterized by additionally containing a (meth)acrylate compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R1, R2 and R3 independently represent H or CH3; and n represents an integer of 9 to 14); and a solar cell utilizing the sealing film as a rear-side sealing film. |
