Disclosed in the present invention is a layered encoding method for low density parity check (LDPC) code. The method includes: determining, according to the structure characteristics of a check bit matrix part H p of check matrix H, a location information in an LDPC code word of a check bit corresponding to a layered operation mode and a row information in H corresponding to the location information; obtaining, according to the determined location information and the corresponding row information, the value of the check bit corresponding to the location information by using the layered operation mode, and updating the code word according to the obtained check bit; executing an LU decomposition for a remaining check matrix H t corresponding to a remaining check bit to be determined to obtain the value of the remaining check bit to be determined, and updating the code word according to the obtained value of the check bit. Also disclosed in the present invention is an LDPC code layered encoding device, which eliminates large storage space requirements and long encoding time delays in existing LDPC encoding methods. |
