An ultrasonic surgery device (21) is provided with: an ultrasonic vibrator (Ib); an ultrasonic drive device (5) which drives the ultrasonic vibrator (Ib) with a drive signal; a probe (2) which comprises a proximal end provided with the ultrasonic vibrator (Ib), comprises a distal end to which ultrasonic vibration is transmitted, and treats an organism tissue with the ultrasonic vibration of the distal end; a resonance frequency tracking unit (37) for driving the ultrasonic vibrator (Ib) so as to perform ultrasonic vibration at a resonance frequency; a detection unit (38) which has the function of a filter unit (39) for detecting a frequency component signal of the frequency component of the drive signal other than the resonance frequency; and a cavitation reduction control unit (40a) which controls according to the result of the detection the cavitation to be reduced or extinguished.
