A passive start and entry system includes a plurality of antenna utilized to detect a location of a key fob by defining a localized area within which a prompt signal can be received by the key fob. The localized area over which a valid prompt signal can be received by the key fob is constrained by sending destroy signals over other vehicle antennas.
