<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device decreasing the actuation frequency of a means for boosting wheel cylinder pressure when master cylinder pressure exceeds an assist limit. <P>SOLUTION: The brake control device includes a negative pressure sensor 132b, processing of a step 101 executed by a control unit 20, brake pedal stroke sensor 15, a wheel cylinder 5, a pump 10 supplying liquid pressure separately from the brake operation of a driver, and the control unit 20. The control unit 20 limits the actuation of the pump 10 until a predetermined value larger than assist limit pressure wherein the liquid pressure of the wheel cylinder 5 is calculated, and supplies master cylinder pressure to the wheel cylinder 5 when the detected brake operation state is in a predetermined state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
