BROADCAST PROGRAM RECEIVER, REMOTE CONTROLLER, AND BROADCAST PROGRAM SELECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast program receiver for making an interesting program easily found by zapping even if there are a great number of channels.

SOLUTION: A broadcast program receiver for receiving at least one of a plurality of broadcast programs on air includes: a program information acquisition part 21 for acquiring information about a broadcast program which is broadcast; a coherency calculation part 122 for calculating coherency between the received broadcast program and the respective broadcast programs on air on the basis of the acquired information about the broadcast program; a received program selection part 124 for selecting the broadcast programs received from among a plurality of the broadcast programs on air according to an operation input; and a broadcast program receiving part for receiving the broadcast programs selected by the received program selection part. The broadcast program selected by the received program selection part satisfies a condition that coherency calculated by the coherency calculation part is predetermined.
