PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of improving the convenience according to a moving mode of a user.

SOLUTION: The display device includes a position information acquisition part 16 for acquiring position information indicating the position of the user; a companion presence/absence information acquisition part 18 for acquiring companion presence/absence information relating to the presence/absence of a companion moving with the user; a system controlling part 15 for determining the presence/absence of a companion based on the acquired companion presence/absence information; a symbol mark acquisition part 19 for acquiring, when it is determined that a companion is present, a same symbol mark indicating that the user is moving with a companion; and a display control part 20 for displaying the acquired same symbol mark on a display part 12 based on the position information, and moving the display position of the same symbol mark on the display part 12 based on the position information updated in accordance with movement of the user.
