PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexure such that simulation for determining an external shape of a support base corresponding to requested spring characteristics is easily performed and that a connection portion has superior ultrasonic bonding properties when an electric connection with a control circuit is made by ultrasonic bonding, and to find a method of manufacturing the flexure. SOLUTION: On the support base composed of a conductive metal layer having its external shape processed into a prescribed shape and showing spring characteristics, wiring is formed with an insulating layer interposed therebetween, the wiring comprises a wiring portion made of an electrolytic copper foil and a wiring portion made of a rolled copper foil, and a slider and the control circuit are connected to each other by the wiring. The connection portion for ultrasonic bonding which electrically connects the wiring to the control circuit side is formed of the rolled foil, and a tip portion side being a slider side of a magnetic head suspension is formed of the electrolytic copper foil.
