PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating motor that enables thinning of a rotor. SOLUTION: The vibrating motor 1 is configured, such that: a ring-like varistor 37 is arranged between a flange 36c of a bearing 36 and a riser 38b of a commutator segment 38; an electrode 37a of the varistor 37 is made electrically conductive to the riser 38b by solder H; a solder inflow space S is provided between the electrode 37a of the varistor 37 and the riser 38b; and the inflow of the solder H into the solder inflow space S ensures an electrical conduction between the varistor 37 and the commutator segment 38, while the varistor 37 is fixed firmly to the riser 38b by the solder H.
